Jodi is an active member of the Marblehead community where she has been a travel soccer coach for both boys' and girls' teams as well as a running coach for "Fit Girls". She is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Marblehead Arts Association. She is a member of The Winter Garden Club and Dolphin Yacht Club. Jodi believes in giving back to the community and is a volunteer at My Brother’s Table and Spur.

Jodi is married to Sean Gildea, and they have two teenage children—Liam and Ella—plus three dogs.
